Join us for an evening of wonderful music from PinkFusion

PinkFusion is Leslie Mauldin and Sean Rogers, both of whom have established solo careers, and are now happily joined as PinkFusion – a duo that combines the dynamic musicianship of Sean Rogers (piano/vocals) and Leslie Mauldin (lead vocals, guitar, songwriter) performing jazz and blues standards with their own original arrangements, original pop, folk, & blues, as well as throwing in a bit of classical fare, both traditionally presented or as reimagined through the lens of jazz.

Leslie Mauldin and Sean Rogers of PinkFusion are longtime friends and music collaborators who first met when Sean played and Leslie sang Anne Trulove’s aria from Stravinsky’s “The Rake’s Progress” after Leslie first moved to the Treasure Valley from her native Los Angeles.

She was informed that Sean Rogers was the only pianist in the area that could play this difficult piece for her at the last minute, and from that point on their collaboration has continued over the years, encompassing diverse music – everything from classical to jazz and blues, Broadway, Disney & original pop/folk music.

One of their deepest collaborations was when they prepared Leslie to sing her first Tosca, which was a dream role of Leslie’s since she was seventeen years old, and the process of which developed Sean’s love of opera as an art form that encompasses character-driven music. They are so thrilled to have been brought back together in this new and exciting music duo – PinkFusion! The first concert they played as a duo at the Nampa Civic Center received 3 standing ovations, and PinkFusion was born.

Shortly thereafter, Covid shut down all live entertainment, but PinkFusion improvised like jazz musicians will! They started a weekly vlog featuring a new arrangement or original song each week, and performed limited audience socially distanced casual backyard concerts, sponsored in part by the Idaho Commission on the Arts. Now they’re so excited to be getting back to live venue performance (not that backyard performances with no technical staff and Leslie’s dogs in attendance weren’t a great experience:’).

PinkFusion warmly invites you to join them where they’ll take your audiences on a diverse musical journey through the jazz greats, some blues, a few originals, a touch of classical fare, and entertain with storytelling, comedy, and some dancing –  that they hope will not be confused with comedy…along the way.

Beer, wine, and sparkling wine will be available to purchase. Thanks to Terminal Gravity Brewing and Hood Crest Winery & Distillers. Light snacks will be available for free.
